RUN UNITED 3 – RunRio Trilogy 2011 Leg 3

September 30, 2011 Leave a comment

UniLab, together with RunRio presents…

This will be the 3rd and last leg of the RunRio Trilogy, and will feature a 500m (for kids), 3K, 5K, 10K, 15K, 21K and the 32K AFROMAN distance.

This will also be the first time that Run United will be held at the MOA grounds. If you ask me, I prefer MOA grounds for races. Easily accessible venue, bigger parking area, cheaper parking fee (flat rate of Php30 uncovered and Php45 covered), and safer too. At hindi tayo nakaka-istorbo sa mga natutulog pa ng mga 4AM. =)

I guess this was the approved singlet. May TAMBSAP! sign eh. hehehehe

I like the design of ‘Study B’. Sana ito ang maging finisher’s shirt. =)

Journeying James (http://running.journeyingjames.com/) sent me an email last week about an upcoming run on October 30, 2011 happening at U.P. Los-Banos.

Haven’t been to UPLB and I think this will be a good reason to finally visit the place.

10.15.11 – NIKE We Run Manila 10K

September 23, 2011 Leave a comment

Witness the fusion of running, music and Manila’s night urbanscape come to life as Nike Philippines launches We Run Manila 10K.

We Run Manila 10k pays homage to runners and aims to connect Manila’s running community even further by celebrating the concept of We Run – where runners connect, motivate and inspire each other. Furthermore, We Run Manila 10K takes pride by being the first-of-its-kind run that invites Filipino runners to gather and celebrate their love for the sport, music and the country.

The race is part of the Nike We Run City 10k races happening in multiple cities such as Seoul (South Korea), Monterrey (Mexico) and Santiago (Chile) that promises a unique run experience combining running and music. The 8,000 runners from Manila will be part of the 150,000 runners from cities across continents to run in this year’s Nike We Run City 10k runs. Manila is the 3rd city in Southeast Asia and one of the 15 cities around the world participating in the Nike We Run City 10k races from now until the end of the year.

This night run will happen on October 15 and will take the runners traversing the heart of the city’s rising business and lifestyle district – Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
